            Hello everyone! Thank you everyone for understanding about me needing a day off this past Monday. I was exhausted from the production and it was good just to relax. However, my church is doing the production this weekend as well, so I am afraid that I must take a rest on Monday the 11^th of December as well. At least it is on days where I usually post a random picture and not the comic.

            Today, I had a mantra pounding in my head from the movie Alice in Wonderland. It was the line of the poor white rabbit saying, “I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!” Why was I thinking this? Well, because I got behind yesterday and did not finish my comic. I had only one panel drawn yesterday when I had to stop and tell myself that I would finish it today. But the first panel looks beautiful, does it not? I am feeling stunned with how nicely that panel turned out! W00t! Since we are putting up our own website soon, I’ve been taking a very hard look at all of my past comics, being very critical of the work. I want to develop my drawing further. I wish to improve upon the overall look of the comic. I need to push myself farther along this path. The conclusion I came upon from looking at the past 33 comics is that I need to add more backgrounds. I must watch my lines and clean up my drawing before I scan it. These steps, I think will make the comic better, but it will also take more time. Backgrounds are real time killers for me, since they do not come as naturally as people do. I hope that by the time I get really far into the comic, that backgrounds will start to become a little easier.
