Wow, there is a lot to talk about today! I hope that I can remember everything that I need to say!

Thank you everyone for understanding about the comic on Wednesday. I was just following the hazy tunnel of lightheadedness and exhaustion all day and I was unable to think straight, let alone plan and draw a comic. I am feeling much better today, w00t! I can still feel some effects, such as that I am still tired easily, but with some rest and relaxation, I am sure that I will be fully well soon.

I made the comic a little difficult today for a reason. Since I had to miss a comic due to illness, I wanted to make sure to give everyone a really good comic today. So, I pushed myself to have backgrounds and multiple people in multiple panels. I think that it looks really good! I am particularly pleased with how Crystalorange looks in the first panel and how Pinkentity looks in the final panel. Yea! I actually had Pink’s left arm in a different position, but it was not working, so I opted for a simpler pose, but I think that it works well.

And now, for the good news and the bad news.

The bad news is: Today is the last comic for The Quest to Find Blueentity (QFB) that will be seen on Xanga. This has been such a wonderful experience and I feel that both my husband and I learned a lot during this time. I will always have a fond place in my heart for the beginning days of the comic at Xanga.

The good news is: The next comic you will all see will be on our brand new web site! W00t!!!! *shrieking for joy*

After all of the planning, talking, changes, more planning, working, and even more changes, we will officially be launching our own website! January 1, 2007 is our official release date, but, as an early Christmas gift, I’ll give out the site today! W00t! You guys are lucky duckies today! W00t! Here is the new website:

Head on over and check it out! My hubbie, Spam, says that it is about 90-95% done, so there are plenty of things for everyone to check out. There are still a few minor changes to be made, so bear with us if there are any links or pages that are not fully done yet. We will have everything up running fully by January 1st. I am particularly pleased with how the comic looks and even how the More Artwork page looks. The forum is up and going, so go check that out as well. Be forewarned, however, that the forum is also about 90-95% done, so changes are still forthcoming. For those of you who are familiar with software development, the following week and a half are pretty much the beta test phase for the website. If you see any problems, or something that needs improvement, please feel free to use the links to contact us.

Whew, I am getting nervous about all of this! It is a good nervous, though, a being excited about being able to share something very cool type of nervous.

While our new website is opening, I still intend to post on Xanga. Every Monday, look forward to a new drawing or picture here. I have been working on a couple of pictures on Photoshop this week and they look beautiful! I can not wait until January to start showing them off.

Arg, this rant got really long, really quick. I think the caffeine from the latte I had this morning is still affecting me. Am I babbling yet?

Well, here’s a new schedule for everyone!

December 22, 2006: Comic #38

December 25 – December 31, 2006: no drawings or comics. Spending time with my family and getting ready for the opening of the web site! W00t!

January 1, 2007: Opening day for the new website! W00t!

Have a happy Friday and Merry Christmas! If you do not celebrate Christmas, I hope and pray that all of you have a wonderful week next week! W00t!

“So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth is Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” ~Luke 2:4 – 7 (NIV)
